1. Damp Proofing of the Entire Building
   Comprehensive damp proofing measures are being applied throughout the school to protect the structure and create a healthier internal environment.
2. Installation of Ventilation Under the Flooring
   A new sub-floor ventilation system is being installed to enhance airflow, reduce moisture build-up, and preserve flooring integrity.
3. AMP Works – Interior Refurbishment
   A series of Asset Management Plan (AMP) improvements are underway, including:

• Full-scale painting across the school buildings
• Installation of new carpets and flooring
• Repairs and upgrades to existing drainage systems

4. Several outdated heating systems are being replaced to ensure reliable, energy-efficient climate control across key areas.

Following our initial update, we’re pleased to share a new gallery highlighting the ongoing refurbishment works at Barrow Hill.  Asset Management Plan (AMP) works are in full swing—walls are receiving fresh coats of paint, new carpets and flooring are being laid, drainage systems are being repaired and upgraded, and outdated heating systems are being replaced with modern, efficient alternatives. The school is steadily moving towards a safer, healthier, and more welcoming environment for pupils and staff.
