Minerva Learning Trust continues its journey of growth as Chapeltown Academy is set to officially join the Minerva family.
Chapeltown Academy, a Post 16 Free School was established in 2014 and is a successful Post 16 Academy serving the communities of the North of Sheffield and beyond.
Minerva Learning Trust, established in 2014, is a successful Multi Academy Trust who already run operates four secondary schools in the City; Ecclesfield School, Handsworth Grange Community Sports College, High Storrs School and Stocksbridge High School. The Trust currently serves over 5,000 11-16 students and employs over 700 staff.
Bev Matthews, Chief Executive Officer of Minerva Learning Trust, said: "As a trust, we are delighted that Chapeltown Academy is joining our family and are excited at the opportunity to be able to further develop the Post 16 provision at Chapeltown Academy and create an Enterprise Centre of Excellence.

Chapeltown Academy will officially transfer into Minerva Learning Trust on the 1st September.
