Sally Ruczenczyn - Senior Director of Inclusion

Sally RuczenczynSenior Director of Inclusion

I have over 26 years of experience working in the education sector in two different secondary schools as a teacher of PE. Over 11 years of this have been spent as a Senior Leader within a secondary school setting with the responsibility for Inclusion and Safeguarding.

Within my role as a senior Leader, I have developed inclusive practices and significantly improved pastoral care and the outcomes and life chances of the young people in our school regardless of their social or economic background.

Over the past 11 years I have developed expertise in all forms of inclusive practice including attendance, behaviour management, safeguarding, special educational needs, alternative provision and pastoral care. I am passionate about ensuring we deliver a high-quality educational experience for all our students and I have a relentless drive to achieve this.

What I do:

I lead, oversee and develop inclusion policy and practice across the Trust. This includes, behaviour and exclusions, alternative provision, attendance, vulnerable groups (including pupil premium and SEND) and safeguarding. I work closely with The Trust Education Welfare officer and oversee attendance policy and practice across our Trust. I also work closely with The Trust Director of SEND to ensure we develop our practice and outcomes for vulnerable learners.
