I have over 20 years’ experience working as a member of support staff in the Pastoral and Special Educational Needs Departments within schools and Pupil Referral Units in Manchester and Sheffield.

I am a trained Child Protection Officer and Sexual Health Advisor which enables me to support students and their families.

The past 15 years I have worked within the attendance field developing and implanting the attendance policy, systems, procedures, the collection and analysis of data to ensure timely and appropriate intervention is implemented and multi-agency working to ensure proactive support is in place for all students and their families.

What I do:

Provide support and guidance to schools in managing and improving student attendance.

I can help with:

Support and guidance for student attendance, guidance on attendance policies and procedures, processing penalty notices, legal work, developing a graduated response for attendance and proactive approaches to student interventions or support
