I have been working with children and young people since 2010. During this time, I have worked across varying settings including victim support, schools, youth justice and private counselling practice.
I am a qualified psychotherapist, registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I undertake regular continues professional development to enhance my practice to provide best service to my clients.
I am caring, empathetic, and committed to improving the life chances of young people. I work with young people to explore their feelings, understand their relationships to others and how they view themselves in their world. I work to developed strategies with my clients that help them cope and understand their emotions, supporting them to prosper in school.
I work with a wide range of issues, not exclusive to but including grief, trauma, low self-esteem, confidence, emotional literacy, domestic violence and anxiety.
Choosing to enter therapy can be a daunting prospect, I have a range of techniques to help to build positive working relationships from which to explore together experiences, emotions, and other issues to reduce psychological distress.
