I started at Ecclesfield School as School Finance Administrator in August 2021 where I stayed until April 2022 when I moved to join the Central Finance Team. As the Trust Finance Administrator, I work alongside the Trust Finance Officers and closely with the Trust Finance Director to oversee finance within the Trust.
Having recently qualified from university with a degree in Accounting and Finance, my role in school was my first job in this line of work which gave me the starting experience that I was looking for and ‘a step on the ladder’. I enjoyed my time at Ecclesfield but soon felt the desire for something more challenging due to my knowledge in the subject and my want for career development.
I hope to work towards gaining an AAT qualification in future years with a strong desire to progress my career.

What I do:

Support schools with routine queries, process invoices for all Trust schools, support with financial queries and maintain financial records in line with Trust policy.
